Buying your first home shouldn't feel like a test you didn't study for.
I'm Kendra — a REALTOR® serving Janesville, Beloit, and the rest of Rock County and South Central Wisconsin. Most of the people I work with are buying their first home, and I built my business around making that first time feel steady instead of overwhelming.
I don't just sell houses in this area — I live here. I own an older home in Janesville (knotty pine walls and all), so I know what it actually means to take on a real house: the good parts, the quirks, and the projects that come with it. When I walk a property with you, you're getting someone who's sat exactly where you're sitting.
As a mom raising my son in this community, I understand making a big decision carefully — wanting a home that fits your real life and your real budget, not somebody's pitch. First-time buying comes with a lot of nervous questions, and I'd rather you ask me every one of them than feel rushed into anything.
Outside of real estate, I'm proud to be involved with NAMI, supporting mental health here in our community. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me out on the lake, soaking up time in nature, or off on an outing with the people I love — with good food and a little shopping always somewhere in the mix.
What working with me looks like:
- Straight answers — no pressure, no jargon
- One point of contact from start to finish: me, not a rotating team
- Guidance at your pace, whether you're buying in three weeks or nine months
If you're even thinking about buying your first place around here, reach out. We'll start with a simple conversation about where you are and what's possible — no commitment.
